I have been bothered by this for sometime now, and finally have to rant. If you are going to take the time to post please learn how to spell or at least use a spell check program.

Maybe you should respect that even if somebody does not know how to spell he has the right to express his opinion?

The way you used it, sometime is two words. And you need a comma after the word "post".

Moran.

The comma is correct. It was used as a pause mechanism which is perfectly valid.

I think you meant e.g. -- for example, rather than i.e.

But thanks for the lesson.

Plus, i.e. is never capitalized.

I don't know what you are talking about. You need a comma after post. Commas are not used as a pause mechanism.

i.e. should not be capitalized. i.e. means that is. I think you meant e.g., which means for example.

i.e. should be followed by a comma. If you are going to use a dash, you should use two dashes, as in "i.e. --."

If OP had say 15 tackles for losses in '95 and made All County I think his points would hold more merit.

Hey MJC -- take pride in your subject titles and learn that overuse of punctuation is as bad as or worse than spelling errors.

One exclamation point indicates excitement or emphasis. Two means that the poster reads too many comic books. Thirteen exclamation points indicates the poster had a seizure or passed out.
