1) probably fold, a shortstack minraise screams big hand that wants more chips, and you arent too desperate yet.

2) Easy fold: QTo sucks and you certainly dont want to double anybody with a real hand up.

3) Good fold after the raise, you're behind any ace or pair (very likely hands for villain), and still, you arent desperate here. Folding preflop wouldnt have been a bad idea either.

4) Again, the preflop raise by a short stack says he's stronger than KQo. Fold so you don't double him up.

5) Raise to 300, and plan to fold to a push. A 7 wouldnt be betting full pot into you on a drawless board, and you're probably ahead of any ace (AK or AQ in MP raises preflop). Raising preflop wouldnt be a bad idea either.

The common problem in several of these problems is: You can push moderate hands on the bubble, but you shouldnt be calling with them. Only call with very good hands. Also, don't make raises without FE unless you will probably still have the best hand if called.

I fold. You'll have plenty of fold equity in later steal situations. If you don't feel like he's folding, AJs is not a hand I'm willing to let my tournament life ride on when there's still plenty of poker to be played.

What 7s is MP2 limping with here, and what A hands that beat you is he not raising preflop? As it stands, I'm more than happy to try to get an overcall out of the SB or BB here before pushing on the turn.

1)Push..if not this hand you could not get a hand for a while and be blinded to nothing.
2)Fold..UTG QTo is not a good combo
3)Fold KJo is not a good enough hand to call that big of a raise.
4)Push 7.5 BB with many players to go until the money hits I think that equals push.
5)Fold...too early, wait for a better place to get the chips in.

So, I'm gonna give this a shot and see how I turn out.

Hand 1: Push
Hand 2: Fold (you're UTG, only have Q-high -- not only is it likely a small stack has you beat and might call, you're also in good chip position but covered by Button -- if he has AQ or better, you could skeerood)
Hand 3: So read-dependent...I wouldn't have raised this in the first place from CO+2 -- I'd fold b/c big stack is willing to switch chip position with you over this hand...can't imagine he's not at least A-high, and you maintain decent equity if you fold. Obviously, if he was a total maniac who was clearly bullying, you might lean more towards a call...
Hand 4: Yep, push him in -- he might be on a wide range here, gotta put him to the test...if you're beaten, so be it.
Hand 5: Raise him to about 300 and see what he's about then. Big stack with a hint of bullying in him may have A-high, or a medium pocket pair and be trying to take down the pot based on nothing but his stack.

Hand 1: I'd usually fold. If I know hes an idiot I'll push.

Hand 2: fold

Hand 3: I think I want to be 1 or 2 spots closer to the button before i open with KJ.

Hand 4: You are overvalueing goodish hands in raised pots (this one and the AJ hand) these hands lose a lot of value when you aren't the one showing aggression. This is an easy fold.

Hand 5: I'd call.

a) I want to see what the blinds do.
b) I want to keep the pot small.
c) If I have the best hand, its unlikely to get outdrawn.

Hand 1) Ow. This is the kind of hand where I really like to have a read. If he folded his way to level 4 then I fold.
Hand 2) Can't fold fast enough.
Hand 3) Fold preflop, you are out of position, KJ is a bad hand. If the blinds were bigger (you have less than 7x) you can play this hand, but with 12x you really can't.
Hand 4) Think about his hand range... Even if it's A7+, KJ+, 55+ this is a fold.
Hand 5) I like to raise this preflop, BECAUSE it's my button. Makes this hand much easier to play postflop IMHO.

1) fold...u have hardly an FE as villian is practically pot committed...ajs is great in this scenario if an unraised pot, but once the pot is raised, beware
2) fold...you have 14x bb and qt is a crap hand and you are utg
3) i wouldn't have raised with kj in the first place...good fold
4) fold...again, it's a raised pot and kq isn't really a good hand...mp is basically pot commited
5) that's the problem with unraised pf...he could easily have a 7 in his hand..i'd fold, not worth it

when u are getting closer to 5x bb, ajs and kq are great hands to get if you are first in the pot, but once someone even calls, much less raises, they lose value very quickly and i'd fold...i'd rather have k9 in an unraised pot on the button than kq in a raised pot

I lean towards folding all 5 of these hands preflop.

I couldn't disagree with you more. You have a limited stack, why the hell would you want to play a big pot with AJ? I like the rest of your lines though (besides 1)

1) I have position
2) I don't mind winning the money in the pot right now with my stack size
3) I don't want to see a flop like A77 in an unraised pot
4) This is a $22, I will get called by hands I dominate
5) I'm soooooooooooooooted

I think that many of the problems that you face are a result of raising with marginal hands out of position. Avoiding these situations and you won't face as many tough decisions.

1. Fold: miniraise by the short stack smells like a big pair
2. Fold: for reasons that everyone else said
3. Fold: Out of position with marginal hand and someone saying that they have a real hand
4. Fold: Your hand loses a lot of value since it's not the first to show aggression
5. Call: AQ and AK wouldn't have limped (raising wouldn't be bad here either)

Sorry I repeated a lot of other people's advice but I think it's worth repeating.

Preflop: I can see calling or raising here. Depends on my feel for the table I guess. There is certainly nothing wrong with raising. You have position and a good hand. It IS actually possible to raise and see a flop in a SNG.

Having just called pre-flop, I call the bet. If either blind calls, I'm shutting down. I would refuse to go broke on this hand. If MP2 bets hard on the turn, I'll let it go. It's not worth it. If he puts out a weak turn bet, I'll probably just call again. If he doesn't have the 7, he likely will think that you're slow playing a 7 and you have him beat anyway. For example, if he bets 200 on the turn, I'll call again, but if he pushes the river, I'll fold and keep a playable stack. I don't think that most opponents in this spot would push the river without a 7, when you are the stack that could cripple him. Raising him does not accomplish much, other than not letting him bluff you off the hand. Given that you did not raise pre-flop, I would refuse to go broke on the hand.
