Just sat down at the table. No reads on anyone yet. I just wanted some input on the turn. I was going to raise it until MP1 raised. Is this a automatic 3bet?

its really not a "big" mistake. hes usually passing up equity but not as much as the word "big" indicates.

I just called the flop to keep others in the pot, then waiting the turn to raise. I thought my raise would lose some callers.

Why would you want to lose people on the turn? Do you really like drawing HU as a 2:1 underdog when you could play 3 or 4 way as a 2:1 underdog? /images/graemlins/confused.gif

I would much rather lose them when I'm a 60/40 favorite or better. Better yet I want them to coldcall my flop raise.

I didnt think I would be losing anyone on the turn since the sb bet out.

That isnt the point. If MP bet out on the turn, you should not raise there. It would be a big -EV raise.
