What is the advantage of converting a database in PT ?

....and I know that somebody will tell me to go to the pokertracker forum, but it is slow as [censored], makes 2+2 appear fast..

You might also ask on the Software forum, but here's a basic answer.

PostgreSQL removes the 2 gigabyte file limit on the PT DBs that Access has. It is also supposed to perform better (it's faster) than Access.

Conversion can take quite awhile on large DBs, so let it go overnight or something. My Party-only Limit DB with over 150000 hands took 4 hours to convert on a PC htat I consider to be average in terms of speed & memory.
