Okay I know it stands for "Big Bets", but how do you determine how much that is? I know BB also stands for big blind; at first I thought people were speaking of their winnings in big blinds (which makes more sense to me at the moment).
Someone care to clarify?

It's the 2nd number in the table size description. For example, a 2/4 table has a $2 small bet and a $4 big bet.

Ah, thank you /images/graemlins/smile.gif
So is this a term that has no NLH meaning?

BB is also used in NLH. its the big blind which is the big bet. be careful if you see PTBB. this is referring to Poker Tracker big bets which is different. i think PT doubles the big blind, not sure, someone who uses will clarify.

Really? I had always assumed that they overloaded the "BB" column with two meanings, depending on whether the row is NL or limit, which would be a really goofy way to do. I'm not crazy about the 2xbig blind but at least it's more analogous to limit poker.
I try to use BBet and BBlind/BBl as abbreviations for this precise reason.
