Not many people could win the main event, let alone beat out 5600+ players to come in a very respectable 25th place the very next year. Though my WSOP ME event didn't go well, I got a thrill out of shacking Greg's hand in the hallway, and telling him I wished him the best of luck in the Main Event. I didn't ask him for aan autograph, as he was swamped with seekers, but tell him I was a 2+2'er and wished him the best of luck.

I'm damn impressed with his success, and after going through my first WSOP, I now know you have seek out your opportunities and wise opportunities to gamble. Greg did that much better than the vast majority of us, and I salute him for that.

Actually, I would say he has 4 impressive finishes in huge field tourneys. Didn't he finish in the top 30-40 in another huge event at the WSOP? When an event has over 2000 people in it, finishing in the top 100 is tough enough.

Yeah he has moneyed in all 2000+ fields in the WSOP. Only Devilfish has been close with 3 cashes and 2 final tables.
