Anything I'm forgetting? Is it worth it to upgrade the CPU, or to pinmod the 1.6ghz 400mhz fsb CPU considering the hassle it would be?

Hey, could you give a link to the exact RAM you bought? I really suck at matching it up so that it's the exact same. Oh yeah, and I just bought a 6000, so it's a smaller screen, but fairly comparable specs, and I love it.

I just received a similar one yesterday. It's huge, which makes it a pain to lug around, but the 17 inch screen is much easier on the eyes than the 15 inch UXGA IMO.

I work for Dell. If you didn't purchase your system with the Complete Care warranty you might want to upgrade right away. Just a little tip, it's WELL worth it. You drop your laptop from the top of a building, it will be replaced! /images/graemlins/grin.gif

I would go with the 7200 rpm hard drive I'm not sure if you can get it in 100 gigs but the tradeoff of extra space is worth it imho.
