This hand happened a while ago but it just re-occurred to me and I think its kind of funny.
Foxwoods 1/2. This is a new game so there isn't much money on the table but I'm down $200 from 2 crappy beats in the first orbit.
Donk raises to $10 UTG, I call with 77, 2 others call.
Flop: J82r (~$40)
Checked to donk, who bets $10, I call, everyone else folds.
Turn: J completing the rainbow (~$60)
Donk bets $20. My read is that he has nothing but big cards. I call (which seems to visibly annoy him).
River: 8 (~$100)
He checks, I realize that my sevens are no longer any good (oops) and that now his crappy unpaired big cards are the best hand. I bet $60 (leaving me about $30 behind) and he instantly folds.
