I'm new to Stud, but I'm curious about two pair versus an probable overpair.

I normally check-raise with a strong two pair, aces or kings up on 5th and 6th street if my opponent's board doesn't look too frightening. I think that's pretty standard.

With a lower two pair, even if well concealed, how aggressive should you be with betting...

if you think your opp is on a draw?
if you think your opp has a paired door card higher than your highest pair?

Do you bet out on the river and fold to a raise or simply check it down if your opp has missed his draw or failed to make a better 2pr?

a draw,bet/raise unless u are reasonably sure he has completed his draw. If he pairs 4th Str or 5th Str. check/fold. There are too many ways u can be beaten and the pot should not be that large relative to the bet for u to stick around.
However,if he pairs 6th/7th,be more inclined to play-UNLESS U ARE almost 100% certain that u are beat. Knowledge of UR Oppo. will answer that question.
