He's told me that he has an outtake video from the infomercial that is phenomenal.

his interview on cardplayer got alot of respect from me. he got a fortune cookie that read "all your wishes will come true" or something like that. the interviewer asked "and what is your wish?" vu didnt even mention winning the wsop. instead he said that he wishes all poker players happy lives and good fortune, etc. the interviewer had to pry him to mention the wsop too.

seems like a nice guy.

Did he play poker at the time of those infomercials? I love this guy. He's a living caricature of a high stakes gamboooler.

Last time I saw him he was still two seats to my right in the 20-40 and on my left in the 40-80 mirage games, so high-stakes may be a slight misnomer.

He talks more [censored] at the table than anyone i've ever met.

Tommy with a bad seat. Big stack on his left. Still, I have faith! He's going to Vuuuuuuuuuuuuuuperize them all!

At least him and Greg are at different tables, helping the chances for both to reach the final two.

As long as both beat Ivey, I have a vacation to Paris riding on it now.

Would anyone mind educating me about this Tommy Vu individual? I want to like Tommy Vu too, but I know nothing about him.

That was quite an informative and humorous read. I now believe that Tom Vu clearly deserves to go far in the ME perhaps prompting a new infomercial touting his secret to getting rich via successful poker strategy complete with scantily clad females playing hold 'em. Interesting concept.......

I'm still disappointed that I haven't played with hin.

If he wins, the new infomercials are gonna rule.

I remember an old post about someone playing a hand with Tommy Vu and someone gave advice that was something like "4 bet the river and fold to a 5 bet, you just can't beat Tommy Vu"
