View Full Version : Does this WTSD/W$SD combo mean I'm running bad

This is after 7k hands at 10/20 6max. I know this is nothing, blah blah, but I"m just wondering about the implications of various WTSD/W$SD combos. Mine is 35.04/50.71. 50.71 seems pretty low. Does this mean I'm running bad or could it hinge on other factors?

Over my last 2K hands at 2/4 full my went to showdown is 33.72 and my won@ showdown is 33.33. So you may be running bad, but just have solace in the fact that I'm running worse. :0

well I think the difference there probably has a lot to do with the difference in aggression between 2/4 full and 10/20 6max...a huge difference.

No, 33x33 showdown stats are horrendous at any limit. -10 BB/100 horrendous.

EDIT: I'm not worried about it...it's obviously just a terrible downswing.... I'm losing with every PP, every broadway, and any non-suited cards.

CSD is good but incomplete. Maybe one day I will expand it to factor in VPIP and post flop aggression. It's possible to have an anemic true CSD(as opposed to the short term) and still be a solid winning player because of the other variables I mentioned.

I just played my first 2k hands at 5/10 6max in a while with 30.5wtSD/47wonSD. I lost 0.87BB/100. I would seriously pay someone to look at my database to tell me if I just suck or have been running bad.

Just to muddy the waters, I'll mention that my 32k hands of 10/20 6max showdown stats suggest a wide variety of numbers can be profitable.

43.4% to showdown
48.9% won at showdown
