Trying to get a decent response from Party Poker on Poker Tracker and Gametime+:

(Notice that I didn't even ask about Poker-Spy, so they must have notes on me and the software that I am running.)

If / When I get a response I will post it.

-----------------

Do you understand that the statement you sent me makes NO sense?

MS Windows is a third Party Program!

I acknowledge that you have the right to change your opinion on any single piece of software at any time, so I am not looking to hold you to anything.

Please answer each of the following questions:

1. Am I allowed to use Poker Tracker and Gametime+, or not?

2. If I am not does that mean you are going to be aggressively pursuing and banning all players using this software?

3. If Poker Tracker is not to be used while playing at Party Poker, can I use it offline to review my hands?

4. Are you ACTIVELY (as in TODAY, not MAY at some point in the future) banning accounts for using Poker Tracker?

5. Are you ACTIVELY (as in TODAY, not MAY at some point in the future) banning accounts for using Gametime+?

I am trying to be cooperative here, and remain playing at Party Poker, however, unless you can provide definitive statements on some VERY VERY popular software, why would I risk playing at Party, when other sites have come out and provided clear direction on this software.

Thank you,

XXXXX

P.S. - If you send me a form letter I will take it as a personal request that I stop playing at Party Poker.

Is this one of those emails that reads from bottom to top? If so I suggest you edit it to read top to bottom. As it stands it is hard to follow.

Got a response from Party Poker, it sounds they are recommending that you do not use these software, but they are not banning accounts as of now for using them. I assume that if they change their stance then they will send out warnings that these programs are no longer acceptable.

What I really like is this: "3) You can surely use it offline, but not in conjunction with PartyPoker or any online poker gaming site."

Since when is Party the industry representative?

They are going to "intimate" you THEN "intimidate" you about this manner. Cool.

They must be speaking Dikshit.....
Perhaps someone needs to develop and online translator. That would be realllllly fun.

This is another example of the Party Poker right hand not knowing what the left hand is doing.

I use Poker Tracker and Poker-Spy. I specifically asked Party Poker about these two pieces of software and received the standard answer they may ask to “cease activity at any time”.

It seems Party Poker' strategy at the moment is to spread FUD by sending out conflicting and ambiguous emails to the community.
