routine turn plan

opponent is 65/11 with a 1.8 postflop aggression factor and a playerview displayed check-raise number of 14 over 700 hands. He's loose preflop, makes thin postflop calls and likes to play tricky via the check-raise. But he often likes to wait to check-raise until the turn or river, so I try to take advantage of this. Am I too fearful of a check-raise?

Plan is to call any river bet and to raise an 8 or A. If opponent checks the river I bet if I improved and check my A unimproved.


BTW, do you play an unimproved big A (AK-AT) any differently here?

I play it the same. As soon as I see that flop I'm thinking showdown. Against an aggressive, tricky, player it's the best line. You get to showdown cheap, avoid getting bluffed off the best hand and give him the opportunity tobluff the river. The turn card makes it even eaiser since you picked up outs.
