Airing tonight 4 hours from the Wynn Casino. featuring some big names on SportsnetFrom Danilel' Blog

The craziness doesn't stop there however, as at 8:00am I have to be at Wynn to play in a live tournament that will air on Fox Sports Net. It's a $20,000 buy in invitation only tournament being thrown by the people at Full Tilt.

An additional fun twist to the already unique live event I‘m told, is that while Howard Lederer won't be playing in the event as he doing the commentary, he will be playing a heads up match at the conclusion of the tournament.

Who he plays depends on the voters. Apparently this is how it works: there will be a poll conducted throughout the event where you can vote for who you want to see Howard play!

I don't know all the details about the match as I just learned about it tonight, but I am told that the match will likely turn into a one hour show of it's own which could be a lot of fun.

So in other words, (fake cough, fake cough, stuff the ballot! Fake cough, fake cough) let me at em' FCPer's! :-)

Either way, you should definitely check your local listings and tune in tomorrow for what promised to be some great poker action. If you liked what you saw at Turning Stone, chances are you will love this! Time for bed.

They're starting the tournament with these 24 at 4 6-player tables. The final 6 will be on live TV today.

That may be the case in your area, but most FSN affiliates will show it live at 6pm Eastern.

Seeing as all Fox Sports channels are regional the time zone is useless. Check your local listings to be sure but from what I have gathered from playing poker at the Casino where there was 5 diffrent baseball games on from 5 diffrent Fox Sports channels is that most are showing at 6 PM regardless of time zone.

There's nothing like a 'live' sporting event that's delayed for 3 hours.

Unfortunately, Sportsnet has had coverage on the NHL deal being made all day today replacing everything they had scheduled. Don't be surprised if that continues all day.

Looks as though you can vote here for Howard's opponent, but there only seems to be 5 choices for some reason:

I get the feeling Annie will win, but who knows.

Good thing they're delaying it in the west. I'm still at work at 6pm eastern time. In fact I'll have to leave early to get home by 6 our time. The joys of having a "real" job.

Yeah, you're probably right. Just when I thought I couldn't be madder at the NHL, they prevent me from watching poker. As if we need 80 straight hours of coverage on collective bargaining agreements.

Maybe we'll get lucky and they'll replay the poker later tonight...
