well, I've had a great runs of variance up & down. so to minimise this thing called variance, I post the 10k hands in 10 days challenge. Feel free to join and keep us up to date. (us STT players used to do challenges all the time)

For those of you who get rakeback, you can make a killer amount of money simply in rakeback + profit.

Count me in. Haven't been playing much lately and I want that freeroll Porsche on Party (you need 10,000 raked hand by July 23rd), so this is the perfect opportunity.

Short on hours, so I'll be doing mostly 25 and 50, I can't 4 table the 100s for 1000 hands a day.

Good luck!

I'll give it a shot. How many hours you think that is 4-tabling?

Work on 200 hands/hour to allow for table changes and such, only 50 hours in 10 days, very doable.

this is true, more if you're doing some 6max tables. My game plan will have me playing 10max tables until Friday/Saturday night and during the weekend (day) I'll probably mix in some 6-max tables.

Zorro, what's the deal with the Porsche freeroll? I only play empire since I get rb there

Worth $95,000

Tough tournament though, 10,000 hands means few fish I would think. But hopefully all the tourney pros won't be in it, tourney hands don't count. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

I wonder how many people will get in. Last I checked there were less than 200, but I wouldn't be surprised if it fills up (2500). I think I have about 9100 raked hands and should be done by the weekend.

I'm already doing this. For days when I don't go to Foxwoods, I'm playing 1K hands/day. It takes me about 4-4.5 hours 4-tabling the Party 1/2 NL (I usually do two 2-hourish sessions). I'm only 20 hands short of getting into the Porsche freeroll, too.

Anyone have an idea of what 10,000 hands of 4-tabling 6-max will give in rakeback? Just wondering.

my estimation at the NL100 tables 10-max is you'll pay about $900 in rake * (30%) back = ~$300. If you play six sided or higher stakes larger pots, more rakeback.

After nearly 2.5k hands, I'm making mistakes somewhere, so instead of continuing my own challenge, I'm going to regroup and read over all my NL100 hands and start anew.

Does anyone know of an efficient way of reading through your HHs while not physically viewing the HHs via text files?
