Background: We've been ITM for about 15 hands and the action has been mostly smallish/min raises and calls from the bb. With a little bit of *gasp* post flop action.

One of my friends has been trying to convince me to limp my big pp in this spot, so I did. I probably should have pushed it after I got that minraise, but I'm retarded. So my question is basically when he checks to me on the flop do I check behind? I really hate the position I put myself in, but can I afford to not bet?

Feel free to flame me for how I played preflop. Hopefully it will prevent me from playing like this in the future. I wish I would have been pushing the whole time like usual.

Of course limping here preflop isnt terrible, but Im really not a fan most of the time. Also I dont like the raise to only 900. KK really isnt as strong as you think it is

(although it's very strong, but you are giving any ace the right odds to chase. I'd like to make a bet that completely denies ace high hands the proper odds yet still may encourage them to call. If I feel like I can't do that I usually err on the side of caution.)

Don't give anyone hints as to the strength of your hand is my mantra, I push preflop.
