Full handed fairly tight table, I have A2s in BB. A fairly tight player in MP/LP open limps, SB completes I check.

Flop comes A85 rainbow, SB leads (no real read on him) I call, planning on calling down if the tight player gets out of the way.

Should I ditch my hand due to reverse implied odds even though there are not many cards that hurt me if my hand is good?

Actually, you should raise.

Why? The limper will probably get out of the way if he doesn't have me beat, he'd probably fold middle pair here before overcalling. Is it to knock SB out on the turn if he has 5 outs against me?

I want to knock the limper out and get it heads up and then get one bet in on each big street.

edit- limper is likely to fold regardless of your raise (unless he has you crushed with a set, and then he'll let you know)
