Empire miscounting bonus hands?

I am currently trying to get a 500 hand bonus. When I click on my player icon at my table (under "statistics") it says I played 498 hands. When I look under the Empire bonus page, it says I played about half that much. What gives?

Raked hands?

Empire page only counts raked hands.

under "statistics" it says "hands played". Is that different than "raked hands"?

Yes, not all hands you play are raked. Only raked hands count towards the bonus.
