Villain is 69/2/17

Seen him go all-in pre-flop with small pocket pairs.
Playing 87o pre-flop.

Looks good to me; he committed himself with the turn minraise and you're not going to fold middle set against such an opponent.

Of course, I wouldn't be posting this if all ended ok.

He showed down the only hand I was scared of: QQ

-$39 on one hand hurt so I decided to call it a night.

Oh well - easy come, easy go. Took me 260 hands to get from 25 to 72 and 1 hand to come crashing down.

Still, 13.5 PTBB/100 for the day is good.

That was what I was thinking, you dont see many players at this level slow play top set.

Your line worked perfectly, especially given that you're only seeing QQ here 4-5% of the time especially given the victim's LAGginess (that's not real math, but you get the point). I think you'll see something like QT or KQ or AQ much more often. Anyhow, i'm always going in with middle set before things showdown if i'm given action on such an uncoordinated board. nh, too bad.

I don't know why, but at the time I was sure he didn't have J9.
Mind-reading?

Didn't help me anyway.

his pf play might suck ass, but what about post flop?

I bet half to 2/3 pot on flop. Pot is way too big. Turn min raises always scare me - kinda the mindset, well he pushes big with crap, and tries to suck you in with small raises.. I think J9 here. I would consider calling.
