If this item is going to go sub $400 in the next few month it will most likely happen in the next 2 weeks. Dell's quarter comes to a close at the end of July and this is normally when the best deals are to be had.

Whatever you do, do not buy this item from ebay. It is worth the slightly higher price to know that you will have a warranty and that the item will actually show up.
