basically i f-d up my retainers by mangling them from some pressure.

so they are all off and its going to be roughly 40hrs until I see my orthodonist... is this going to really screw up the alignment of my teeth?

No. He will set you up with some new ones and they will push your teeth back into place.

i've broken retainers about a billion times, so I have no reason to worry?

bah, i'm 25 and i'll be wearing a retainer in a year or so.
