Yeah, there are already four hundred Raymer posts, but who the hell cares? Not familiar with the workings of the big-time MTT, I'm wondering how much his monster chip stack means at this point. Obviously it doesn't mean he's going to win, or even make the final table. On the other hand . . . he's sitting on a monster, monster stack right now, and the man clearly knows how to play. At least a little bit /images/graemlins/smile.gif.

Where would you experts put the over/under? 40th? 20th? 50th? Think there's about 160 people left at the time of this post, and he's got the chip lead (x5 average stack I believe).

He needs to maintain a steady intake of Coke to win.

He has an average stack if there were 40 players left, therefore I would have to put his over under around 20.

i calculate his equity at about 2.3 million in chips with his current 1.45 stack, so 56 million divided by 2.3 = 24.34... so i put the over under at 24.

the logic is flawed a little bit but i dont care enough think about it more thoroughly.

I think it would be a fairly smart bet to say that barring some bad luck situations, he should have no problem finishing in the top 20, at least. It's still too early to predict, though. All he has done so far is prove to everyone that he is a tremendous NL tournament player, and last year wasn't a fluke. He has made me a believer.
