I think your misreading the youthful look on some of their faces. There was only one underaged guy in the group that I knew of, but yes as a whole you and I were two of the eldest players in the group. 18th Annual Psychiatric Congress (http://www.psychcongress.com/) is November 7 through 10, and I really feel the need to arrive a few days early to adjust to the difference in time zones.

I'll be in town for poker from 4th through the 6th, then for the conference (and poker at night, of course). I'm gunning for a 3:1 ratio of poker to psychology. Sleep is incidental, as I will not be presenting anything during the conference.

Also, I will personally kick Al Capone in the nuts if there is no Magoo Game on the 4th.

i have never had the rate at the Mirage, and I was able to book it. I just need to have them track my play when i get there so that they can verify that i played the proper amount. 1-800-77POKER. I preferred the Belaggio, but their poker rate rooms were sold out.

I so want in on this but you picked a time when I can't get anyone to commit to coming with me. Being a gambling degenerate comes with great freedom but trips are hard to work when your friends are productive members of society with actual jobs.

I am coming to 2+2 for help. I am one click away from booking the flight (Thurs-Tues) but I can't fade the room rates for Friday and Saturday. If I can convince someone to share a room for atleast those 2 days I am so in (I can fade the room cost for the rest of the trip but would still be open to sharing the other days as well).

Fake ID questions will get you banned at 2+2. Using one in Vegas can get you much worse. Sorry son, but you are not welcome at the Magoo game.

For now, enjoy Canterbury, where playing is legal at your age. Plus, if you are who I think you are, you don't look a day over 15, and any ID you get will be VERY closely scrutinized by people who've seen LOTS of fake IDs.

BTW, the babysitter we took with us on our last family trip was 20, but looked 22 or older. She played nickel slots three times and was carded twice. Since she had "forgotten" her ID, they just asked her to leave, which she did promptly.
