Assuming the shorty's range is extremely wide should I call this? I do have enough that I could continue to steal if I fold but I am getting decent odds. Also I'll be at like 4.5xBB if I call and win.

How extremely wide are we talking? 2+2 wide pushing 56s? I probably call this mostly because I have him covered and because I don't value my stealing power at my current stack as much with MP at 3645 chips. A stack of 3k chips, however, would really pack a punch with SB to my right when it comes to steals right?

this one really depends on the player. In a $50 I'm usually calling in an instant, but in a lower buy in I can fold this against a passive player.
