With no reads I would 3-bet that flop.

He could be raising you there with a wide variety of hands you beat including, A4, 33, 55-88 and overcards as well trying to get a free card on you. You really do not want to let that happen so 3-bet the flop and lead the turn. You have a lot of value on that flop, extract it.

Either 3-bet the flop or checkraise the turn. I think you played this too passively.

See I was worried I played the hand too aggressivly.. I'm not to comfortable on my high middle pocket pair play..

What makes you think you're behind after the flop raise?

3-bet the flop. MP most likely just has 2 overcards and thinks his A-high is good.
You didnt so now you MUST CR that turn. 1. its probably for value and 2. you need to make sure UTG folds (he did anyway but you didnt know that when you called). Your hand is likely best but still vulnerable.
MP could also fold his 2 overcards to the CR, dont count on it though.
Sometimes you will lose to a pair bigger than yours but its VERY unlikely that MP didnt have a big pair and hit anything at all so you will win this pot most of the time.

I think you slowed down too soon. I'd 3-bet the flop and then just call down if he caps.

Yup, I take the same line, calling down if he calls the 3bet and raises the turn as well~
