Am thinking of getting this (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=3761&item=52151898 55&rd=1) tv card. The blurb says it requires

"VGA card/chipset with full direct x 8.1 support, direct x 9.0 support required for HDTV"

Run Belarc Advisor

Get

"
Display

RADEON X300 Series [Display adapter]
RADEON X300 Series Secondary [Display adapter]
Default Monitor
"

will this meet the requirements?

Edit: My grafics card is "128MB PCI Express RadeonTM X300 SE"

Spec looks pretty comprehensive, though the card itself looks a bit cheap 'n' nasty. It'll probably be fine, but don't expect much in the way of support/warranty service from an unheard-of manufacturer, obviously. At 45 quid, it's probably worth a punt, but if you'd rather pay more for a better established name, have a look at http://www.nebula-electronics.com/

So I got the card, popped it in my pc, installed the drivers etc. Load up the program, and scan , it only finds a few channels, none of which it displays citing "Need Higher singal quality!". I have the aerial they provided attached to the back of the TV card. This hsould be enough, right? I live in London and our TV reception on our normal TVs is fine.

FWIW I had 5 seconds of joy when SKYnews came up on my PC.

Help!
