Villain had QTo, I bet again on the turn, he raised all-in, I called, he hit a Q on the river to add insult to injury </font>

Should I have checked on the turn? I'll be ahead here more than often, right?

Are you positive you're not being result-oriented here?

Why go all-in? 590 left with 245 in the pot... oh, I see, the pot is 50%, and you choose to go all-in instead of betting the pot following the 40% rule. Ok /images/graemlins/smile.gif makes sense.

Thanks.

No You shouldn't have checked the turn. Yes you'll be ahead here more than not.

Cant help the fact he plays bad.

Push the turn, don't be results oriented.

Thank you, I'm at a point where I need reassurance even about AA, heh, thanks again.

I'm not, because the donky fish would have called with QTo anyway I suspect. Yes, I push because I'm committed to the pot anyway, it looks more like a bluff, and encourages bad calls, too.

Yes, except you want a call with AA from QTo on this flop. As long as you deny him odds to draw to his 5 outer you win Sklanskybux.

Bet more preflop so you can bet more on the flop and still get callers, push turn.

I would've just pushed the turn but obviously it wouldn't have changed the results of the hand.

I like your pre-flop raise and flop bet. Popping it much higher pre-flop than what you did might've lost him.

Bad luck.

I agree. But this is a $10+$1 and they will call anyway.

Checking bad. Pushing good.
