villain is 41% VPIP. AF 2.0. Went to showdown 41% won at showdown 36% over 54 hands. is this a value bet on the river or check down?

Let's say you bet the river. What hands would you expect UTG to call your river bet with that don't beat your pair of Aces?

any ace or queen probably calls, as also probably any pocket pair.

i have problems playing these 4 flush hands on the turn too. when to call with a weak flush, when to bet with one, and so on.

looks like a clarkmeister, bet the river.
search +clarkmeister +flush

edit: just noticed you're not OOP, so its not standard but I would still do it, and fold to a raise without a good read.

I check this through everytime. It would be closer if the board wasn't paired.

against this villian id say bet. i think he should show a losing hand here most of the time. a seven would have popped you again at some point during this hand. its close though.

This isn't clerkmeister.

First of all, I hate the flop raise. Its either going to slow him down when we're in front (bad), and make it more difficult for us to set a trap. Or he could have a 7 in which case we're nearly drawing dead. Getting 3-bet sucks. We'd also like SB to come along.

Call the flop, raise the turn because he'd certainly bet into you, and on the 4 flush river I check behind. With how the action went, no hands you beat will call enough of the time to warrant risking a check-raise.
