I'm a college dropout, went to a university for two semesters and it just wasn't for me. In the fall I'm planning on attending a Technical college in order to work my way to getting an associate's degree. Registratin closes in about 3 weeks and I can't decide which CIS program I should apply for. My two choices are Computer Information Systems Programming Specialist and Computer Information Systems Networking Specialist. Does anyone have any experience in either of these fields? Which program could provide the best career opportunity? Thanks in advance for any help.

There are just getting to be more and more networks, and they're connecting more and more things in the future(t.v.'s, stereos, burglar alarms, temperature controls, etc.) and they'll always need hands-on maintenance and babysitting.

Yet programming jobs can always be shipped out to India, and it's already a long-established trend.
