when doyle made the offer to purchase the wpt at 700 million and the stock rose, does anyone know what put options were available on the market? was buying puts on this stock very competitive at the time or were people selling contracts at normal rate? what were the contract rates and was there much of an opposing market?
i only know about these options from reading books, i have no first hand knowledge of how this market works. when doyle first made the offer to buy the wpt my immediate thought was to buy puts, but i dont have a broker nor any money on the market so it didnt seem worth doing it.
