I just saw this on www.PokerProphecy.com. (http://www.PokerProphecy.com.)

Who knows more about the following news found on this site?

We suggest you e-mail Party Poker with your displeasure about them invading your privacy. At this point no funds have been confiscated by Party Poker or their skins. This message from us is simply a general warning.

well considering that party is not able to detect bots, i have trouble believing that the software contains spyware able to access your computer the way they detail.

however, they can detect the useage of pokeredge so this adds to this story's credibility.

theyre not able to detect bots because their bot-catching strategy is to send suspected bots one of those identify the scrambled text and type it up things. unless they are doing a double fake for whatever reason, seems unlikely that they can catch (most) bots.

Ya, I sent a bunch of e-mails to empire and party asking for proof. I got the run around each time. I really don't think they care. It's too bad as I can think of a dozen ways to counter bots. If they ever made online casinos legal in the US laws (and taxed money from the casino) could be used to fight bots instead of Canada reaping all of the profits.

Funny, kind of reminds me of the drug war.

They are, but the posters are referring to bots who don't KNOW they're bots.
