AQUARIUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Edit- afterwards head into the North End for lunch. There's a really good coffee shop (don't remember the name) right across the street from a smoke shop if you can find it that serves wicked good gelado and other good deserts.

I've been going to Amherst College for 2 years and I went to Boston for the first time about 2 weeks ago. Go on a duck tour. I have no idea if that is the corniest thing ever, but I know I wanted to go on one.

The city is full of history. Celebrate the 232nd anniversary of no taxation without representation: re-enact the Boston Tea(bag) Party!

Taking a walk by the Charles River is pretty good.

If you're into her, save Top of the Hub for later. If you want to try to get in and get out, so to speak, then by all means give it a go as a first date.

Sox games are good because every girl from around here thinks she's a Sox fan.

North End is a pretty good deal too... but that raises the bar for all future dates, much like top of the hub. I think it's best to start with something like dinner and drinks and watching a Sox game at a good bar.

Aquarium or/followed by a wander through Fanuel Hall. Dinner at Kingfish Hall/Durgin Park/Zumas. The take the green line to Fenway for a Sox Game, show up during the 2nd innning, leave mid 8th, bleacher seats are cheap. Go to Boston Billiards/Jillians/Beer Works afterwards for drinks.
Take her home and stick it in her pooper.

impress her by doing something different than every other yahoo in the city. For the love of god don't go to Quincy Market, and if you go to the North End, be sure to go a nice place off the tourist trap trail.

There are a ton of great restaurants in Cambridge, suitable for dinner and drinks aftertwards. Try Temple Bar on Mass Ave, or West Side Lounge just down the street. Dali is romantic/fun Tapas restaurant in Inman Square that all chicks love. If you want to stay in Boston, try Audobon near Fenway - good food, not too expensive, good bar scene as well.

I'd go for live music - Johnny D's or TT's. Nothing like music to loosen up the back door.

Wow.....i had no idea watching a sox game was a first date.

If its just drinks, go to the Enormous Room (http://www.enormous.tv/). Its the ultimate date spot. If you go mid-early week it isn't that crowded. Good djs, awesome staff & lots of couches and lounging area. There will be lots of other couples there too, so it isn't uncomfortable. You can be casual and sit on a couch, or lounge on the pillows close up on each other.

If you are doing a dinner thing, you could go to the Central Kitchen, have a nice dinner. Then head upstairs to the Enormous Room.

If you're going to Mattapan, I hope you are bringing some protection. And I don't mean the fun kind.

The Milky Way in JP is a great place. You can go and bowl a few sets of Candle pin while having some drinks. I've never been to King's, but it is a Martini bar/Bowling alley downtown and could be fun.

Someone mentioned the Enormous room in Central Square. The middle east and TT's, also in Central square, often have good live music. If you do go to Central, hit up the River God's on River st. It's a really small but awesome bar with excellent food and good music/atomosphere. As far as other bar's both Bukowski's (one in Inman Square and one Downtown) are nice and have a ton of beers and I can actually stand the music they play there.

If she is into Baseball, of course you could go to a game.

If you say what you/her are into people might be able to help you out more.

Museum of Bad Art (http://www.museumofbadart.org/)

580 High Street in Dedham Center
Dedham, Massachusetts 02026-1845

Free , about 5 little rooms in basement of active movie theater. Outlandishly ugly paintings , wittily captioned by MOBA.

Town itself is nice to window shop.

Also, Geeky, but interesting. Museum of Science and Industry, there's a subway stop for it near Boston Garden

Pub trivia can be ok depending on the girl, and whether you're a dumbass at trivia or not.
