This hand has been bugging me for a while so I thought I would post it.

$100-$200 No Limit 9 Handed Ring Game

Relevant Stacks:
UTG.....N/A
UTG1....$90
MP1.....$100
MP2.....$150
CO......N/A
Button..N/A
SB......$400
Hero....$270

Blinds: $3/$5

Preflop:

Hero is BB with T/images/graemlins/club.gifT/images/graemlins/diamond.gif

UTG folds,
UTG1 bets (T15),
UTG1 has made bets like this before with marginal and crappy hands.
MP1 calls,
A preflop calling station, he called with any connectors, any pair, or any big card. He would raise or reraise with any big pair (AA, KK, QQ, or AK).
MP2 calls,
This guy called raises preflop with any ace, any pair, and any suited big card. He would raise or reraise with any big pair (AA, KK, QQ, or AK)
CO folds,
Button folds,
SB pushes all in (T400),
No read on this guy, he had changed tables and only had been at this table for 5 hands and folded all of them.

The pot is now (T445) and SB took the action Hero was planning on doing.
UTG1 looked a bit horrified when the SB pushed all in and told me he would call if I did because then he would be getting the odds he needed.

Hero should ...?

Hero has $5 invested from posting, and the pot has been raised, called a couple times, and pushed for $400 (90bb). Hero has mid PP. Easiest fold ever.

I would probably even fold QQ here. JMO

I thought that maybe I had played too weak in this hand and should have called, but given everyone's responses, I made the right choice and folded instead.

Thanks for the replies. /images/graemlins/smile.gif
