Risk factor list: The list of risk factors mentioned for Cluster headache in various sources includes:

* Smoking
* Alcohol

Risk factors discussion: Studies of cluster patients show that they are likely to have hazel eyes and that they tend to be heavy smokers and drinkers. Paradoxically, both nicotine, which constricts arteries, and alcohol, which dilates them, trigger cluster headaches. The exact connection between these substances and cluster attacks is not known.

Mortality/Morbidity: No reported mortality is directly associated with cluster headaches, although suicides have been reported in cases where attacks are frequent and severe . The intensity of the attacks often leads suffers to miss time from activities such as work or school.

I know, very strange thing. There is no cure for it either, just help during the attacks.

It is the rarest form of headache. Most doctors don't even know about it, but headache specialists do. Apperently it is also called suicide headache beacuse of all persons killing themselfs when they have an attack. The most intense attacks are described as a person stabbing you in the eye and twisting the knife around.
