EP limps, MP limps, SB completes and I check. 4 to the flop.

It comes A-A-J.

Ugly kicker, good flop. With no kicker, is slowplaying incorrect? I dunno. Anyway, the SB checks, I check also, EP bets, LP raises, I 3-bet. SB folds, EP folds, LP calls.

Turn is 7, completion of the rainbow. I bet out.

I don't see a problem with the play I think I would just bet out here though on most occasions. For some reason when you just bet out here many players don't put you on an ace cause it's expected to slowplay trips.

I agree,

Its usually best not to try to slow play trips in this situation. Your hand is strong but not imprevious. A free still has the potential to crush you or at least give someone a draw to crush you.

People will give you action because the they suspect your taking a shot at the pot.
