Bankroll Building?

Hello all, I am depositing $50 in the near future onto PokerStars, and I was wondering how I should start off building my bankroll? I really want to play MTTs, but in order to do that I need a proper bankroll, so any tips? I was thinking of doing $5.50 SnGs, but should I stick to 5c10c cash rooms until I reach a certain point? Thanks for any help.
