Any interest in a reasonable IRC Channel?

That is, an IRC channel that ISN'T run by power-mad teenagers that like to ban on a whim?

I was really enjoying staying logged in and chatting on the IRC channel until I got banned by ZeeJustin (because I don't know what I'm talking about concerning M:TG and I quoted the starting blinds for Day 2 instead of the 'current' blinds). Which he has every right to do, since he is an op, etc. Whatever, I'm unconcerned.

But I did really enjoy the forum, while it lasted, and have no desire to play the ban/unban game.

Anyway... any adults interested in a channel?

I'm about to go on vacation for a week with limited access to set it up, but I wouldn't mind setting it up when I get back, if there's enough interest.

In general, I think if your first instinct upon being banned from IRC is to run to the Zoo to whine about it -- you probably deserved to be banned.

Actually I am working on a 2p2 chat right now. I have already notified Mike Haven about it, It should be finished and ready for everyone to check out tomorrow.

I've setup a temporary channel #2plus2 on EFNet. If I get back and GrandmaStabone's chat is all we need, more power to it.

I'm back from vacation, during which my internet connection died for a couple days (go figure).

Okay, so, I don't get it.

All the ops on #2p2 are the same ones as on #twoplustwo...... so how is this a 'different' channel?

I've been banned because I asked if someone could ban someone who was repeatedly leaving and joining to channel (. Apparantly that person was also a mod, and decided to ban me for making that request. Screw that channel.
