Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

MP2 plays every hand, and plays them passively.
MP1 is TAG, but has somewhat loose raising standards.
Hero is playing in the first pot in 20 hands at the table.

Preflop: Hero is UTG+2 with 9/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 9/images/graemlins/heart.gif.
UTG calls, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP1 3-bets</font>, MP2 calls, <font color="#666666">5 folds</font>, UTG folds, Hero calls.

Flop: (11.50 SB) Q/images/graemlins/spade.gif, Q/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 5/images/graemlins/club.gif <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">MP1 raises</font>, MP2 calls, Hero calls.

Turn: (8.75 BB) 7/images/graemlins/diamond.gif <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">MP1 bets</font>, MP2 calls, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises</font>, MP1 folds, MP2 calls.

River: (13.75 BB) J/images/graemlins/diamond.gif <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, MP2 folds.

Final Pot: 14.75 BB

What do you think?

I like the turn checkraise on El Brick -- it really helps define your hand. He is either donking around with overcards, has a solid overpair, or has the trips. How he responds to the c/r really tells you what he has. MP2 donking out only makes everything better.

I also really like this turn play. PF took me by surprise but I'm starting to like it more.

going into the turn i thought you were in big trouble. nice c/r. out of curiosity, what gave you the thought to try it? did you see something more specific from MP1?

Wow, I'm impressed that worked. I continuously pick the wrong time to try these moves against a TA-A or TP-A. My 'read' plays (i.e. my own personal donkbets) are surely costing me money.

What do you put him on? TT? AK?

This seems like a nice read dependent play reminiscent of 6max, what do you do on river if TAG calls the c/r?
