well i think we're a lot closer to the truth now than when we started, eh?

btw i think youre correct about provocateurs or 'fifth columnists' in peace movement but of course they are small and provocateurs of course are US govmt assets.

but almost all in say couple hundred thousand march are decent americans.

from my understanding david horowitz doesnt agree with what ive just said.

http://www.whatreallyhappened.com/horantiwar.html

'The agendas of the so-called "peace movement" are pro-Communist and anti-American. Its organizers have worked with America's enemies in the past and are continuing to do so in the midst of this war. This is the very definition of a political "fifth column." Honest dissenters and Americans concerned about the future of their country should take a hard look at these protests and those who support them.'

it looks like he may be technically right but propaganda in the sense that if you think his agenda is to discredit the entire peace movement then its propaganda.

also note he doesnt say anything about govmt provocateurs a la wto seattle demonstrations.

Communism is dead, except when people don't want the war that their government wants; then those who think its wrong can safely bet they'll be accused of being communists.

Very sad.

A: youre a communist for being against the war.

B: no im not.

A: aha! then you admit youre a nazi!

(B is hauled off by men in black ski masks)

announcer: these protesters are tricky. report anyone you suspect of fifth column tendencies. do not under any circumstances attempt to apprehend said supsects, they are highly dangerous and known to be extremely violent.

background voice: brought to you by mothers for a peaceful world and the save the children campaign

I'm certainly not accusing all peace activists of communist sympathies, but I do believe there are some folks who are not merely good-hearted flower children leading the peace movement (in particular Ramsey Clark).
