In these two situations I have pretty big hands and push all-in both times, but I am wondering if I could have played them better, and if so exactly how? Basically, what is the most profitable way to play these hands (in terms of $ and NOT tournament chips(aka how do I maximize $EV))?

I really don't like not pushing unless you have AA or maybe KK. QQ has a lot of overcards on the flop, AQ misses 66% of the time. I'd push QQ, and AQ is an autopush.

1) I play this two different ways. Either I push, or I raise 4x the BB to 600. If someone calls I all-in unless it's a completely horrible flop. Try to see what the table has been reacting too. Presumably the correct move here with ICM is to push because of the blinds and it being 5 handed. I dont have the calculator, but I can only assume it would be +EV to push.

2) I'll 3x the BB or push. With your position I'd think you win over 50% of the time.

I might "slowplay" the QQ by making a standard raise here. QQ is a good hand and you would like to get a little action with it.

In the AQ hand I normally push but I don't think making it 500 or so with the intention of pushing any flop is terrible either. Its a riskier play, but will often earn you an extra 350 chips.
