Yes, I've searched. I've only found that I can, in fact, get a poker rate room for $65 dollars at the Taj. I have never played in any cardrooms in AC. What do you I need to do to qualify to get a poker rate room? Do i just ask the front desk for one? Or do I need to go to the poker room and ask the cardroom manager. Should I call ahead or can i just walk in monday morning and get a room.

Thanks!!

purchase room using poker rate - sign up for taj comp card as soon as you check in - give card to floor man when you get to a table - go to customer service (in poker room) when you get up from the table so they can record your hours - front desk will verify you qualified for the poker rate based on how many hours you played and charge you accordingly at check out - i'm sure you can ask how many hours are needed to qualify b/c i have no clue

Step 1: Skip the taj and head to Borgata. The Taj sucks.
Step 2: Get a MyBorgata card either over the phone (# is on their web site) or in person at the casino
Step 3: Check (either in person or over the phone) as to availability of rooms at the poker rate -- sometimes they're "fully committed," in which case you're SOL.

its probably alot - but AC is like this .... would you rather get drinks delivered to you by your grandma or by the chick you coulda had when you were 21?? if i was sending anyone to AC i would recommend the borgata. just keep in mind its not the place to walk up to at 9pm on saturday and expect to get a seat immed.

as an aside the seats are WAY more comfortable and the TVs are way more visable in borgata -

not to mention that they are more organized than the other rooms - if you are there more than 2 days i would encourage you to try the other rooms just to know how well you had it at borgata
