See this movie. I could not recommend it more. I don't want to tell people about specific bits because it is best for people just to watch it, talking about it doesn't really do justice to how intense it is. Quad rugby pulls absolutely no punches, and neither does the movie.

I saw the real sports special on it....looked crazy as fukc.

The funniest was that one dude was talking about all the pussy he gets because of his disability.

I saw it last night. It's really good. On one level it's a about quadriplegics, on another level it's about hyper-competitive people.

This movie is on my list to see. I may be wrong though. This movie is n't about quadriplegics is it? These guys are paraplegics aren't they. How could you play rubbgy or move the chair if your arms are paralyzed?

Man, I'm early release dates for many movies is something I'm going to miss about LA. Thanks for the heads-up, I'll see it when it comes out here in 2 weeks.

Quadriplegics have lost all or some of the use of all four limbs. It appears most of the guys in the movie have at least partial use of their arms, enabling them to wheel themselves around. This is based on watching the trailer.

many can move their arms but don't have complete function, they can't grip in certain ways or have a full range of motion. often they cant form a fist, just clench two fingers together or something.

i finally got around to seeing this movie over the weekend. it's about time they made a film that DIDN'T depict ppl in wheelchairs in sappy, sentimental ways. there's a great deal of condescension (perhaps unintentional, but condescension nonetheless) in the usual sort of hokey, "inspirational" portrayals of the disabled, so it's nice to see one that manages to avoid it. after the death of christopher reeve, who was the definition of "hokey inspiration," maybe the new face of disability advocacy will now be mark zupan, who's described even by his high school buddies as an a-hole. i for one would welcome the change.
