I'm thinking the two points where I could have possibly checked instead of betting was on the turn or the river since there are some serious scare cards that hit. There is no read on the player since this is one of my first 10 hands at the table. If I were to play this hand again, I would probably check/fold the river. Could I have saved another bet on the turn?

There's a reason they're called scared cards.

Don't check the turn. You're just opening yourself up for your opponent to to take a shot.

Check-folding this river is HORRIBLE. A check-call isn't the worst thing in the world, but I honestly like the bet-fold line against a fairly straight forward opponent.

Without a decent read it's probably fairly standard to pay this hand off, but overall I don't mind your line. Bet-folding is not a bad play, but check-folding this river is very bad. Don't do it.

I like the way you played it. I would pry pay off the raise on the river, but I play at .25/.50 and see alot of donk bets so might be alittle loose with my calling down.

I check-call the turn and hope that I will be ahead 25% of times since I get 5.75:2 pot odds.

I would c/c the river. At that point the board a turned pretty scary and there is not alot of things that he will call you with that you beat. Give him a chance to bluff at you. That play seems to work alot for me.
I don't know if there is a ton of value in betting this so it would not be the end of the world if he checked behind.

I think I would check-call this river, hoping to induce a bluff.
