Let him ramble. When I have a few hours to kill I'll click on his post. Besides we might be doing his wife an invaluable service by keeping him in the basement.

... give SPM all the bandwidth he needs! would you walk up to Michaelangelo in the cistene chapel and say "uh, would you mind putting off the ceiling job and just paint a few canvas for me"

hillbilly- how about the Vince and SPM forum...I doubt Vince would mind, it takes some off the creative pressure off him...

Yes, let SPM keep on going, rambling, in his peripatetic style, which is decidedly his alone. Remember, Ray Zee, if you let SPM disappear, others are willing to fill the void, and that, that I tell you, may be too much for the rest of us, those whose writing bespeaks the essence of pithiness, to bear.

BTW, anyone want to put a limit on how many times M can respond to his own posts?

peripatetic refers to well traveled or applying aristotles philosophy to a discussion...at least by the dictioary i consulted...are you suggestin spm is more concerned with form than content....gl

It's the afterthoughts that get me.

I agree, let him ramble. Nobody makes me read all his posts in their entirety anyway.

scalf,

Oh no, of course not. SPM links form and content. I used "peripatetic" in the sense of "walking around." I think of a nice, slow, leisurely style when I think of SPM.
