Fantasy Football Keeper Systems

My league is considering a switch to a keeper system, just curious what are some of the rules that your leagues use?

A good one that I like is each team keeps 3 players. Players drafted in the first 3 rounds can not be kept. For the players that are kept, the owner forfeits their draft pick 2 rounds earlier than the player was taken. For instance, I pick Carson Palmer in the 12th round last year. This year, I can keep him if I forfeit my 10th round pick. If I want to keep him the following year, I forfeit my 8th round pick. Players can be kept for 3 years max.
