I usually go by the rule of "push the standard raise is 40% or more of your stack" but there was a lot of reraising at this table and they were all playing tight. I didnt want to fool around with a hand like this on the flop so I pushed, you like this?

meh...don't hate it. much much better than a standard raise IMO. but with a healthy stack in L4 i'd be just as inclined to smooth call it - playing the hand for what it is post flop. (there's also 9xBB corona_mike behind you that might gamble with a hand. hate to see you get crippled in an unnecessary race at this point)

I'm not really a big fan, I don't think.

What sort of range are you putting UTG on here? The big problem I have is that it looks like a steal, so at a 10+1 people are gonna call with basically everythign that beats you (and maybe a couple hands you are ahead of). I don't have a big problem with a raise to 350 or a limp or even a fold, but I think the push is a bit much.

he was tight as i still have 15BB
in hindsight i can see this was a bit heavy handed

raise: between 285 and 335

i don't like the idea of calling and i feel the push is unnecessary. if the table is as tight as you say it is then your raise will be respected. besides, if someone is tricky enough to limp with a good hand, then i want to make them PLAY their good hand. i don't like surprises. might as well see what you're working with as early as possible in the hand.
