I was speaking with my buddy who recently had four of a kind (3's) against aces over kings full house. The dealer had pointed out the full house to be the winner and mucked the rest of the cards. Before the next hand came two other people said my buddy had won that hand. The casino went back and found the four of a kind in the cards but they said there was no way to prove he had those cards. The casino also refused to go back and review the tapes of the incident. Is this right or has this happend to anyone else?

The tapes are not for the players, they are for the benefit of the house only.

Speaking of which, the video security systems in most casinos suck.

This casino was dry, but he sometimes isn't the brightest bulb on the tree. I am asking for him from hearsay and by no means was i there to witness this.

Just because they can find 3-3 in the muck does not mean the house can be sure it was his.
Tape systems, as mentioned above, often leave much to be desired. Especially in the ability to read the cards.
The testimony of two players at the table is not enough.

Unfortunately, this is what most places would rule.

Rule #1 for a winning hand: Gimme the pot. Then I give you my cards.
