Weak pair, but all undercards

How do you play the situation where say you have 77 or 88 and the flop comes 3 undercards. You are more than likely ahead but against a large field will get outdrawn quite often. I usually just bet out or go for a check raise from someone in LP to weed down the field (as I believe SSHE suggests).

What about when the turn is a higher card but not face, say in the 77 example the turn is 8/9/T.

it depends on many things, i.e. how many people in the hand, was there a preflop raise, your position and so on.
