I feel like Im missing the value of a number of hands in the SB. Specifically offsuit connectors, suited connectors and suited Kings and Queens. At 2/4 with hands such as these should I almost always complete in an unraised pot?

How many opponents? How tight/loose are the limpers? How likely are they to bet/raise the flop? How likely are they to fold the flop? How aggressive is the BB?

Go read SSHE.

I really do need to pick up SSHE, but neither of my local bookstores carry it. I really should order it from amazon or something, but that requires entirely too much patience.

Assume an average 2/4 table though. Most are overly loose, almost all are very passive.

Haha too true, but that is at least active. Waiting for a book, movie, or whatever to be delivered is absolute hell for me.

That's almost down to the word the exact response I had for this thread.

SSHE is going to tell you any two suited from the SB. I don't go quite that far, but I do call liberally for half a bet. Beware hands such as QTo that are easily dominated, though. But you can safely call with such gems as T7s and 95s. I don't go with any two suited like SSHE says, because hands like 82s with no straight potential are going to be slightly shorted on equity. Very rough PF SB complete chart, and this is just me spittin, but...

88->22
AQo->ATo
KJo->KTo
QJo->QTo
QJs->54s
KJs->64s
KTs->74s
K9s->84s
K8s->T5s
K7s->K2s

You're raising anything stronger, and this is just a rough estimate, but I think you'd have a solid foundation with these hands.
