View Full Version : $11's QQ - Overcards on flop - auto fold?

I did not play well last night... sometimes can fold high pocket pairs on the flop, sometimes I can't... last night I could not. In general, should you auto fold any pocket pair when there are over cards on the board if your opponent has shown aggression? It just seems that I lose more when I continue to play in this situation, than I win when I catch villain bluffing (baring reads.)

Game 1 - Villain is very aggressive, and his bet seemed like he was bullying me w/ his stack... why bet so much? - Now I see that he was scared of flush draw (str8 unlikely... who bets 4xbb w/ 52.) Was my pf bet ok, should I bet more?

yeah, thats tilt and nobody can talk you out of it while youre there...at least you've identified it

it happens to me sometimes and i consider it part of my learning process (along with staring at my dwindling bank roll or having bad dreams about A9o)
